Ultra Lunam is a Latin phrase which means the “far side of, beyond moon”. Similar to the moon, we also have two sides: the side that we show to the world, and the dark side that never sees the light of day. Both sides are equal but different. The notion that there is night and day, summer and winter, so it is with us, humans.

Our culture promotes the idea that we are (or ought to be) perpetually happy and that our lives are perfect - just examine Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. Social media has created immense pressure to perform and show to the world that our lives are flawless.

But what do we do with the dark emotions that we experience on a regular basis? How can we express sadness, rage, anger, disappointment, and still feel safe and accepted in the community?

Ultra Lunam is a way to express all of me and feel authentically human.
